Educational Qualifications:
(i) For technical discipline: Bachelor's and master's degree in a subject relevant to the first class in either of the two at the time of selection.
(ii) For Science and Humanities:: Equivalent to first-class, postgraduate degree or equivalent in any relevant subject and must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR or similar test recognized by UGC / SET
Desired: Relevant teaching, research, and industrial work experience gained after two years of acquiring the required qualifications.
Age: As of May 1, 2020, upper age limit of 35 years. Relaxation is allowed as per the guidelines of Government of India for the candidates of reserved category. In case the candidates have relevant and adequate teaching, research, and industry experience, the limit of higher authority can be relaxed by the appropriate authority.
